  • Abstract.

    An open Riemann surface is called parabolic in case every bounded subharmonicfunction on it reduces to a constant. In literature were introduced seemingly different analogsof this notion for Stein manifolds of arbitrary dimension. In the present paper we give a differentdefinitions of parabolisity and give some immediate relations among these different definitions.Inparticular,we discuss the following open problem:is the S-parabolic manifold S-parabolic
