  • ADJOINT PROBLEM FOR THE LAPLACE EQUATION UNDER A NONLOCAL BOUNDARY CONDITION

  • Abstract.

    The paper is devoted to a new method of construction of the adjoint problem to a boundary value problem for an elliptic partial differential equation in a bounded domain with nonlocal boundary conditions. In this method, we do not use conditions except the given boundary ones. The method is universal in the sense that it can be applied both to linear ordinary differential equations and to linear partial differential equations.
